President of the United States!

Note to the world... a President has earned the title of President for life. Do not refer to President Reagan as any of the following: Mr. Reagan, Ronald, Reagan, or Ronald Reagan...

Refer to him as President Reagan! Same for President Ford, President Bush, President Clinton and sitting President Bush.

In a world where we are so politically correct, how can the media continue to show so little respect to the highest office in the United States? Over the next 2 days, see how many times you hear this... I guarantee you'll need more than your fingers and toes to count the times.

Don't forget President Carter. Or is it Jimmy, Carter, Jimmy Carter, or JC? ....Mike

Mike, I think it is President Peanut and thanks for pointing out that I missed him... how stupid of me.

Anna, you are a pain ;-) I understand it is okay to refer to the former President as Mr. Reagan. However, what ticked me off were the sheer number of reporters that kept saying Ronnie or Reagan as if they were buddy buddies. That is just plain wrong! I have no problem with Lady Thatcher refering to President Reagan as Ron as she was quite close to him. But a reporter that has never met the man should be referring to him as President Reagan!

Steve, I think you're going all "Knight" there...;) I agree though - "Ronnie" is pretty inappropriate!! ~Anna
