The Edge doesn't need Preseason games... he's ready to go...
Hey Edge... why did you fumble twice tonight? Not used to taking a hit? Maybe a few more carries in the preseason and you wouldn't have put the ball on the ground twice in the red zone tonight. Once... okay... twice... unacceptable.
And Peyton, its okay to throw the ball away and settle for a FG. You don't have to throw into triple coverage... so stop it!
And Coach Moore, you are in field goal range to tie the game... you know NE is going to blitz... run a quick hit play... not a shot to the end zone that requires Peyton to hold on to the ball for 4 seconds. That play and sack were the reason that game didn't go to overtime... not Vanderjagt's miss. 48 yards in that wind... no way can you take that sack.
The Colts gave away a great opportunity tonight. I fully expect this game to cost them home field in the playoffs and come early January... they will be back in NE in the snow and ice.
