Bracey left the game with 4 minutes left in the first half and Indiana up 5 pts. IU then went on a run and ended the half up 16. Coincidence? I don't think so.
Same offense. Lack of pressure defense. Bracey chucking NBA 3s.
Only bright spot is White and Ewing inside. However they should be a bright spot as they are playing against short, slow DII guys inside.
Interesting coaching move. Ewing had 3 straight possessions where he scored inside. Davis calls timeout and takes him out. Meanwhile Bracey chucked a 3 from close to 30 feet. Barely grazed iron. Davis stood up and clapped. Bizarre.
I am glad to see that IU is trying to make some money on sponsorships. Dicks commercials at timeouts. And the halftime stats were brought to us by FedEx. Just as long as they don't interfere with the Band and the college atmosphere... I have no problem with it.
I also noticed they moved the media from courtside up to behind the South basket. By removing those tables, they added courtside seats. Hmmm... I wonder how much those cost?
IU won big... but its hard to put a lot of stock in beating a DII team that is predicted to finish last in their conference.
