What is Artest thinking?

When the Pacers initially traded for this guy I thought it was a bad deal. Here is another selfish headcase... why do they need that? But over the last few years, Ron won me over. He always gave it his all when on the court. He played defense first, offense second and was a great team player. Yes that aggressiveness caught up with him on occassion and he lost it on the court getting ejected and suspended. But what he brought to the team offset the bad.

Now here we are 2 weeks into the season, and Artest gets suspended by Carlisle for actions that "compromised the integrity of the team." Last night word comes out from Artest that he asked Carlisle if he could take time off to rest and to take care of some off-the-court business.

Are you kidding me? Rest 2 weeks into the season? While half the team is out with broken bones? Ron, are you a Moron?

Guess I will be getting an O'Neal jersey instead of an Artest Jersey.
