IU BBall - Oral Roberts

Just got back from Bloomington... my how the IU Basketball program has fallen... guess Mike did a great job of lowering expectations for IU fans. I never thought I would see the day when Don Fisher would be showering praises over a 1 pt win over Oral Roberts and a 2 game winning streak.

While I see flashes of brilliance in some of the players... DJ, AJ and Vaden... the lack of fundamentals on this team just kill me. Yes they got a win today... but how many times can the IU players lacksidasically drop under a screen instead of fighting over it? Spencer-Garder repeatedly had wide open looks from the 3 point line and he knocked down 6 of 8. How many times must we watch IU players double team from the weak side leaving their man unguarded for an easy layup or dunk? I counted 5 today. Simply correcting those fundamentals and we aren't hoping Ken Tutt misses his shot at the buzzer.

IU 69 - Oral Roberts 68

And in the ever important Assist to Turnover ratio... IU had 10 assists and 19 turnovers... that won't cut it in the B10.
