Finally! It is about time IU beat a team they should beat badly.
IU 68 - Furman 52
The first half was some good basketball. They played inside out and Bracey played within the team concept. Defensively they pushed Furman out a foot or 2 further than they are used to and it disrupted their offense.
The second half IU came out and stunk up the joint for the first 1o minutes. Fortunately their defense kept Furman from making a big run and some timely buckets by Bracey and DJ extended the lead back to a safe margin.
Overall that was probably Bracey's most complete game as a Hoosier... his line... 25 points on 14 shots, 5 assists and 1 turnover, and 8 rebounds.
Now IU only has to win 12 more games... or at least that is what Mike Davis said before the game. "IU needs to win 13 more games this year." Looks like the Quotes that make you go Huh? might be coming back. Just in time for the B10 season.
