IU BBall - Michigan

Woo Hoo! IU beat Michigan. Give Mike Davis a bonus. IU shot extremely well from 3 point range and it wasn't a fluke. All but Bracey's lone 3 and Vaden's offensive rebound 3 pointer, were set up by very good kick out assists. IU had a positive assist to turnover ratio at 14:9. Without walk-on Suhr, IU doesn't win this game. Good Game Errek!

IU 70 - UM 63

The CBS crew of IU Alum Dick Enberg and OSU Alum Clark Kellogg kept up the positive beat. Here are some of the positive themes and the number of mentions:

Bracey is the superstar of this team - 5
This IU team is just so young - 8
IU still has NCAA aspirations - 7
IU has played a tough schedule - 3
IU is going to be a terrific team - 4

And the best quote in talking about IU's youth... "There are NO seniors on the IU roster."

That explains Donald Perry leaving, he finally got fed up with being a ghost. I guess if coach doesn't play you, you no longer are a part of the team. I wonder what Mike Roberts, Mark Johnson and Ryan Tapak will do on Senior Day.

Steve,

Sorry to post this here but I didn't see a contact email.

I came across your Indiana blog today and wanted to
introduce myself as well as my blog, the ACC
Basketblog. We are the internet's #1 source for the
latest news and original writing on ACC Basketball,
and soon, all ACC Sports. The site is a collection of
the day's top stories (The Daily Roundup), polls, and
what we call Free Throw Friday. FTF is the day our
contributors submit original content on their favorite
teams. The writing and comments are very creative and
make for great reading.

We have gained very favorable attention from national
sports outlets (see Sports Illustrated link below) and
intend to continue growing with our readership. We
would appreciate a link off from your site and would
be happy to reciprocate (as a matter of fact, you are already linked).

I have attached a link to the sports illustrated piece
below which lists other sports blogs that you might
also find interesting:

Thanks very much for your consideration and keep up
the great work with your blog.

steve,

your ranking of worn out quotes is excellent.

have you ever been to this site

http://www.sportscliche.com/

I just remember my father who never liked to watch sports would have to suffer through a game with me. "Oh the drivel, the drivel, I just can't believe it!" He would shout at the TV in disgust after they sais "he gave 110% percent.."
blah blah blah

Ed,

Nice ACC Blog you have there. As a fan of good basketball, I'm jealous of what you get to watch as opposed to the garbage in the B10 (outside of Illinois) this year. I appreciate the link, but I just have this blog as my way of venting. I'm not trying to increase readership.

Steve

And yes, sportscliche.com is a great site.
