IU BBall - Penn State

IU plays about as well as they can play and they barely squeek out a win over the worst team in the B10 at home. Sunday at Illinois is going to be ugly!

IU 68 - PSU 63

IU shot a season high 59% in the first half and a season high 52% for the game.
IU had 17 assists and only 9 turnovers for the best assist to turnover ratio all year long.
IU was only 5-19 from 3pt range... those 14 missed scoring opportunities kept PSU in the game.
PSU's 3 inside guys scored 42 of their 63 points as IU insisted on playing 4 guards and Ratliff and Vaden couldn't guard their 6-7 widebodies inside.

Could any of the above be tied to Bracey not playing the last 17 minutes of the game due to an ankle sprain? Nah... coincidence I'm sure.

I don't know if it was the early 6pm start, or the mediocre IU basketball team, but the balconies weren't even half full tonight and the main level was only 2/3rds full. People were giving away tickets outside and scalpers couldn't sell anything. That sure doesn't seem to be the sign of a team/program on the rise.
