New Way of Enjoying IU Games!

After being frustrated all season long watching IU games... I came up with something new tonight.

An IU Basketball Drinking Game. I decided I would chug a beer for every time that Lavin or Musburger would mention 1) IU's tough schedule, 2) IU's Youth/Freshman, 3) IU is without their Star Bracey, 4) Davis in the Shadow of Bob Knight, 5) IU Fans have to have Patience with Davis, and 6) Davis is a great recruiter. 34 beers later... man am I plastered. I should have guessed it would be a Davis love fest. Next time I will just pick 2 categories.

1) IU's tough schedule - 7 times
2) IU's Youth/Freshman - 11 times
3) IU is without their Star Bracey - 6 times
4) Davis in the Shadow of Bob Knight - 3 times
5) IU Fans have to have Patience with Davis - 3 times
6) Davis is a great recruiter - 4 times

How about for every time Lavin referred to either point guard as the Quarterback? I didn't bother to even try and count. But it had to be at least 30 times! It drove me nuts. You never hear a commentator during a football game call the quarterback the point guard of his team. Arg!!

Dear Lord, Steve! Don't destroy yourself over IU BBall!! With that kind of a regimine, you'll destroy WAAAY too many brain cells, and they'll have to put you in the Purdue Alumni Association.

All that beer caused me to forget to comment on Lavin's best comment though. "IU's offense has gone from bad to badder."

So Sad!
