Hmmmm... too early to judge if there were any rules broken here. But as long as IU takes the transfer route of recruiting, tampering will be an issue. There is a reason why Coach Knight wouldn't take any transfers.

The final comment from Mr. Doyle...
Indiana should tell Richard Chaney to stay away -- or unmask itself as a program willing to trade virtue for victories.
Well there you go.

It certainly looks bad, doesn't it? Lots of smoke, and some small brush fires, courtesy of the kid's comment to the Utah coach.
I'll predict that not much comes of this, because IU and Davis are going to back off this guy. Not of their own volition, mind you...they may not have much of a choice, because I can't imagine public opinion being too kind to them when there are rumors of tampering flying around.
I like the "Davis looks like a cat trying to avoid getting dunked in water" comment better. I've dunked cats in water, and it's pretty funny...just like Davis trying to keep his job.
The bad part is, it seems like we can't even get some victories for the virtue that we're trading.
I was always afraid that we would become as slimy as Kentucky someday. But least if we were emulating Kentucky, it would result in some wins. We can't even lose our virtue correctly...
That is outstanding Anna!
