IU embarks on image makeover - Indystar.com
More than a year to name a Dean of the Business School? 2 years to name a Chancellor?
I think this sums it up... "What we're trying to do is have a uniform message and look and statement so we carry it out as Indiana University," Ferguson said. "We are very confused right now, and that's what this image issue is about." - Steve Ferguson, a Bloomington lawyer who was elected president of the IU board of trustees this month.
"With help from a consultant, the university will strive for consistency in everything from logos on department publications to the shade of crimson on the school's athletic uniforms."
Glad to see IU is spending $300,000 for a consultant... guess that Marketing dept at the Kelly School of Business just isn't up to snuff. But then again the consultant is looking at the color of the uniforms... again. Unbelieveable.

How about "cream" and "crimson"? Or if they don't like that, how about "red" and "white"?
That will be $300,000, please.
Geez - I hope they don't give me a brain transplant so I can parrot the same message as other IU employees. Perhaps I'll at least get a uniform. Want fries with that waitlist request?
