Timeless Piece from Mitch's regime

Pun intended! Thanks Anna for sending me this link. I missed it last week.

No clocks at license branches? No problem! - IndyStar.com

What a brilliant Customer Service move from our new and improved BMV. By removing all clocks, customers can't tell how long they have been waiting in line.

Note to Mitch... most people either wear a watch, or have a cell phone. I don't really need a clock to tell me I have been waiting for over an hour.

Brilliant Idea!!! Not!

no,no,no

you've got it all wrong.

taking the clocks out of the BMV is like not having clocks in casinos.

just like in a casino, the BMV wants their customers to linger longer in the facility so they can make more money off of them.

"I spent the whole day in the BMV buying licenses and registrations I didn't need but it was so much fun I just lost track of the time."

the other reason to remove the clocks is to prevent irate Hoosiers from thinking more about Daylight Savings Time.

Just think if we had no clocks we'd have no DST controversy.

The Star ran one of its non-scientific surveys asking whether this was a good idea. The response was 7% in support and 93% opposed. That is very unusual. I doubt if you could get 93% of people to support motherhood.
