Yes I will always remember where I was on 9/10/2000 when Myles ruined IU Basketball for me. I had just witnessed a Colts loss to Oakland where they flat out collapsed in the 2nd half. As if that wasn't bad enough, as I walked across to the Circle Center parking garage, there was that smug Myles Brand on TV declaring that Sports would never dominate Indiana University again with the dismissal of that terrible OGRE Bob Knight.
A sad 5th anniversary proves Myles Brand to be successful. IU Basketball no longer dominates IU. IU has a joke of a coach and a program that our rivals laugh at in pity.
