IU 38 - Kentucky 14

Hep... You got me! What an awesome game. IU may have killed the basketball program by keeping Davis, but they rejuvinated the Football program by hiring Hoeppner.

Awesome way to send Kentucky packing. They wanted out of the series... send em out with a loss. IU 18, Kentucky 17, with 1 tie. And the Bourbon Barrel shall reside in Bloomington.

Steve, I don't think it's the coach. Our new priest from Wisconsin is the team's new chaplain, and he was taking credit for the win (direct pipeline to God, and all)...;)

However, when I asked a little further, our priest confirmed that Hep was indeed the reason for the change. Our priest related an incident when Hep was first meeting the press (I think), and Hep took out a single rose, put it in a vase, and said "that's our goal." I like the way he thinks.

And just to calm any naysayers who think that we fans only in it for the wins (like another coach who won't be named), let me just say that when the coach seems like he cares, the fans will care. It's not about winning - it's about giving us a reason to care whether we win or lose.
