To the Moon... then Mars!
Now why would we spend $104 Billion to go somewhere we went 35 years ago? Could it be that we never really went to the moon? That it really was a sound stage? Nah... I'm not that much of a conspiracy theorist. That 1 armed golf swing could only happen at zero gravity.

There are lots of better things the government could do with that money than space travel. Why not give it to New Orleans mayor Ray Nagin to help in his campaign for president in 2012?

Yeah...and in the next press release, they will announce that Homer Simpson is one of the astronauts. And he will bring lots of potato chips to float in the cabin during the 3-day trip.
