MLB full of crap...

Nice call MLB... forcing the Houston Astros to leave their retractable roof open tonight. Didn't the Astros earn their homefield advantage? Shouldn't they be the ones making the call on whether they leave the roof open or close it to create a more intimate and LOUD environment?

And Bud Selig is a MORON!!! Nice interview "We want to make it fair for everyone." What??? What if your daughter's Milwaukee Brewers were in the World Series? Would you be making her open the roof taking away some of their home field advantage? I don't think so.

Um... Wendy Selig-Prieb hasn't run the team since September of 2004. The Brewers current owner is Los Angeles investment banker Mark Attanasio. NOT in the Selig family anymore.

Oh that's right... the Selig family sold the Brewers because of that conflict of interest thingy... NOT!

I still stand behind my Moron comment.

And just what was Bud listening to on his head phones in the first inning? MLB en Espanol??

And I did enjoy seeing Barbara Bush sitting front and center for the entire game tonight. She is a true baseball fan! Maybe Bud should have consulted with her about the roof. I bet she would have said "Close IT!"

Personally, I like Ozzie's comment on the whole thing. Basically, he said that they could put the roof on, and they could put another roof OVER it, and the Sox would still win. Turns out he was right! (Although barely...)

I never thought I'd say this, but for my husband's sake I will say...GO SOX!!!

(Please note: Bob is the only man in downtown Indy today wearing a Sox jersey and hat. He's a little excited.)

Gotta say that, even though I'm rooting for the Sox, I do think it was unfair and just plain stupid to not let Houston do what they want with their roof. If they have control over the roof during the regular season, why give it up for the World Series? Idiotic.

Anna, Bob wasn't alone. There were 3 guys in my office fully attired in White Sox clothing.
