My Christmas Wish List

As I recover from my turkey induced coma, I found a couple of items that would make wonderful Christmas presents for any basketball fan.

Building Man-to-Man Offense - Clinic V Video, by Coach Bob Knight

Coach Knight teaches the purest half-court man-to-man offense in the game today. Coach Knight explains his four points of emphasis; shot selection, handling the ball, movement without the ball, and screening. Running Time: 100 Minutes. 1998

Building Zone Offense - Clinic IV Video, by Coach Bob Knight

Coach Knight explains his six points of emphasis for attacking zones and uses drills to teach these points. Your zone offense philosophy will be expanded by watching Coach Knight explain and demonstrate how to attack zones. Running Time: 100 Minutes. 1998

Building Defense - Clinic III Video, by Coach Bob Knight

Legendary Bob Knight builds the Indiana man-to-man defense from the ground up. Coach Knight starts with pressuring the ball and continues with drills for denying passing lanes, help and recover, defending screens, defensive priorities, defending good and poor shooters, and much more. Running Time: 100 Minutes. 1998

Basketball According to Knight and Newell Volume 1

Covers philosophy and coaching theory, coaching methods and techniques. Includes player handbook, quickness and reaction, practice planning, individual team defense. 159 pages (8.5 x 11)

Basketball According to Knight and Newell Volume 2

Includes easy to understand diagrams that emphasize simplicity and execution. Helps coach cutting, screening, inside offense, and more. 186 pages (8.5 x 11)

If I thought it would do any good, I'd buy these and send them down to Mike Davis, but then again he actually spent 3 years with Coach Knight and didn't learn a thing so I doubt videos and books would help.
