Saturday night right after IU kicked Kentucky to the curb, my DVR receiver "blew up!" After swapping out all the cables, I called Comcast customer service. They tried to diagnose the receiver by sending signals via cable and determined it was toast. After apologizing, they offered to have someone come to my house and deliver a new one, but it might take a week, or, I could stop at my local Comcast office which is just 12 blocks away, swap for a new one, and set it up myself first thing Monday morning.
After dropping some coin for ESPN Full Court package and HD, I decided I needed that receiver pronto. So first thing this morning, I stopped before work, was in and out of the office in 5 minutes, back to my house in 5 minutes, took 5 minutes to set it up, and 5 minutes on the phone with Comcast as they activated the new receiver and I was in business.
Thank you Comcast for making that exchange SO EASY!!!! And after watching the Colts game yesterday in Analog... HD is awesome!
