What a great game in Lubbock today. 2 HOF coaches in the ultimate chess match. Every time out, adjustments and counter adjustments were made. For a short period of time, Knight was posting up and working Jackson inside until Sutton made an adjustment to take that away. In turn, Knight made the adjustment moving Jackson back outside, but running Zeno along the baseline. Once Sutton took that away, Knight adjusted to Dora using his outside shooting to bring OSU's Boggan outside unclogging the middle for Plefka.
That game was as enjoyable as any game I've watched all year. And I've now watched over 100 games this season.
Oh and by the way, Jackson hit a 3 to send the game to Overtime where Tech won 92-90.
Texas Tech 92 - OSU 90
Texas Tech goes to 11-9 overall and 3-3 in the B12 giving Coach Knight his 865th win. Coach Knight now trails Adolph Rupp (876) by 11 wins and Dean Smith (879) by 14 wins.
