Basketball in the State of Indiana

Okay, how far has basketball fallen in the state of Indiana?

Class Basketball killed Indiana HS basketball. Mike Davis is killing Indiana University Basketball and without Keady, Purdue fans and media have left that basketball program.

I present the following exhibits.

1) There is no IU basketball coaches show
2) The HS State Finals at Conseco last year didn't sell out.
3) IU basketball pre-game isn't broadcast on the Indianapolis radio stations. They carry the game only.
4) The best HS player in Indiana didn't want to play in the Indiana/Kentucky All-Star games last summer
5) IU Midnight madness and the Cream and Crimson games are no longer televised
6) Purdue had 4 pre-Big 10 basketball games not even televised.

and the biggest exhibit...

7) Purdue's B10 opening night game at Northwestern wasn't televised tonight.

That is just plain SAD!!!!!!!!!!

Oh no!!! You're right, no coach's show is KILLING IU basketball. I mean, what a quality broadcast is was, right?

IU basketball was dying a slow death from 1993-2000. Mike Davis resusitated it with a Final Four run, something your boy has long since forgotten how to do. In fact, we're finally seeing what he can do down in that hole with all of his own players. Any success he's enjoyed at Tech clearly must have been because of Dickey's players, right? Great season so far!

Davis brought the expectations back up again in Bloomington, is enjoying a great season, and will continue to enjoy great seasons.

Care to wager which team plays longer this year? Shouldn't Lord Knight be undefeated no matter where he coaches, who's injured, or what worthless assistant coaches he has on the bench next to him?

Been tipping the Wild Turkey a bit tonight? Wow!

Where did I mention Coach Knight?

Look at the shiny object...

I agree with the guy you mocked. Maybe last year you could say that Davis was killing IU basketball, but thefacts here show how wrong you are. 10-2, and a Top 25 ranking is not killing the program.
