You need to watch the Davis Post Game Press Conference... looks like IU finally told Davis to shut his TRAP!

Thanks Guys!

Looks like Mike Pegram was correct after all.

So when does the IU Admin admit they lied and covered everything up over the weekend? I'm as disgusted about that as I am Davis' coaching ability.

Me too, the fact that the university would stoop that low is pathetic..."too ill to attend"...I totally called that one

They should just admit to being wrong about Knight and reinstate him....or go after Alford

(I can dream can't I?)

Oh my gosh!!

Steve, look at what you did!

What are you going to do for a chiach now?

make that "coach"?

Gee, I didn't know that IU could ever try to cover something like this up. They usually handle all their coaches' departures so well!

Oh, wait...

Anyhoo, let me be the first to say "na na na na, hey hey hey, goodBYE!!!!"

Let the Alford rumors commence. I live in Iowa City and it is a constant topic. Will Alford leave Iowa to coach @ IU? I say "no".. No Big 10 coach (to my knowledge) has switched from one Big 10 school to another. Besides, the Hawks are winning.. Why leave now?

Steve:

Finally! Now I want Greenspan's head. He will be selecting the new coach?!?! Scarry thought. I can't trust his decision nor Herbert's. Herbert is leaving. IU president said, "Davis initiated discussions about a coaching change a few days before the game against Connecticut."
Therefore, why the cover up?
Will I get better seats next season? Will you go back and get your season tickets? You might even get the same ones as before. What a notion!

Greenspan did hire Hoeppner. That was a great choice, I think.

I'm okay with Greenspan right now. He cleaned house on the football side and I agree with Josh, he made a great choice in Hoeppner. I think he was ready to pull the trigger with Davis last year, but a certain President stepped in and meddled with his plans.

The cover up was 100% the Media/PR department and Klinglehoffer should be gone for that garbage.

I hope Greenspan does a complete search and hires the best coach available... not just an 'IU' guy.
