I'm torn on this pick.
I think Seattle is a heck of a team, but the NFC is so weak it raises the question of how good they are. I know Pittsburgh is a heck of a team after beating Cincy, Indy and Denver all on the road. But will they have a let down after getting past those teams?
It would be a nice story for Seattle to win in their first ever appearance. Holmgren proving he can win without Favre. Hasslebeck getting in the Super Bowl Team picture since he didn't as a practice team member with the Packers.
On the flip side, what a way for Bettis to close out his career and for Cowher to get a ring after nearly losing his Job after missing the playoffs 3 straight years. Big Ben getting a Super Bowl ring along with Antwaan Randle El and suddenly Terry Hoeppner has 2 pretty big ambassadors for IU Football recruiting.
So throwing out all the "feel good" stories that have been played to death by ESPN. My gut tells me Pittsburgh will get off to an early lead thanks to some trickery by ARE, they will ice the ball in the 2nd half with the Run, and while Seattle will make a comeback, the Pittsburgh defense will get to Hasslebeck with a late interception to clinch a 24-17 victory.

I'm going against the grain.
Seahawks 35 Steelers 14
Steve:
I have to disagree with you!
Seattle didn't get to the super bowl with nothing. Give them some credit.
Let's go with:
Seattle 24
Pittsburgh 21
The Left Coast needs a win.
