IU - Gonzaga for a berth in the Sweet 16

"Mike Davis, the most compelling story of the NCAA Tourney." - Ian Eagle
Gag! It always has to be about Mike.

IU had no clue on how to handle Morrison's movement on the Defensive end. How many times did IU have multiple guys following him leaving other's with wide open layups? Just look at the OLE numbers below.

I will NEVER eat at Applebees again.

I thought Davis said they were going to let Morrison score his, but stop everyone else. 10 minutes in and Morrison has 1 pt, but the rest of the team has 19 on 6 layups because IU is focusing on stopping Morrison.

Calloway was the man again in the first half.

I will NEVER use State Farm Insurance.

Gonzaga 38 - IU 31 at the Half
IU had 8 turnovers and 1 assist in the first half

I sure hope our next coach teaches how to block out.

Nice T there Marco. The B10 Refs let you bitch and moan all year. These guys aren't going to and to the bench you go. In addition to your stupid 3rd foul the T gives you your 4th with 16 minutes left.

I sure hope our next coach remembers who is having a good game and doesn't forget him on the bench like Davis did with Calloway for 7 minutes in the second half.

IU played better with Marco on the Bench in the second half. He comes in and instant Ole defense.

I will NEVER eat at Applebees again.

The 3 ball kept IU in it. 16-36

I sure hope our next coach has an offense that moves and is agressive and draws fouls. If I never see another 3 point attempt I will be happy.

Gonzaga 90 - IU 80

OLE Count: 21
Bad Shot Count: 15

Thank you Marshall and Sean. IU fans appreciate all you have given to the IU program!

Did you see Calloway's line?

Points: 13
Rebounds: 9
Assists: 10
Turnovers: 0

Smart move by Davis by keeping him on the bench for extended periods of time.

Thanks for the memories this year, IU. And good riddance, "coach" Davis.

With the right coach and offense, Calloway could be a STUD next year.

He will have to be cause IU will have NO size inside.

Ding Dong the Awful Coach is Gone! Time for IU Basketball to become a player again.

I agree, the current offense is a bit over the top on attempting 3's, however, I don't think we should abandon that part of our game. I value defense and a motion offense as much as the next guy, but one thing (among others) that the strong tourney teams seem to have in common is a strong 3-point threat. We should have that next year.

The Applebee comment in reference to the one in Speedway Indiana?
We will never eat there again either...
