John Calipari next IU Coach?

Please tell me NO WAY this guy is a candidate... but another coach with mention of the IU Job goes out of the NCAA with a blaze of glory. John Calipari's Memphis Tigers gave us a glimpse of the future of "athletic" basketball last night... and it was hideous.

I'm with you. Slick Calipari would be a horrible choice. Just after IU announces him, Memphis is given the death penalty. 5 years later and IU is given the death penalty. I can see it now.

Don't worry Hoosiers, Cal is quite comfortable with his $1.2 million annual contract, loaded returning team next fall, top 10 recruiting class (see Hoop Scoop) to set foot in Bloomington.

Too bad though, I doubt Cal would have let Greg Oden leave the state - hey maybe Thad Motta will come on over. I mean who wouldn't leave anywhere to hop into the frying pan at IU?

Dude, I am RIGHT there with you. Ugh. I am going to go lie down in the corner in the fetal position and rock my self to sleep repeating, "Please no Calipari, please no Calipari."
