Mitch, Mitch, Mitch...

What a wonderful Governor we have here in Indiana. He sure does listen to his constituents.

Many Hoosiers don't like Daniels' rush to make changes - Indystar.com
Only 30 percent of those polled say the lease is a good idea, while 60 percent said it's a bad idea.

Daniels is shrugging off the state's dissatisfaction.

"Doing the right thing may have to be its own reward," Daniels said of the poll numbers. "I'd be a lot more concerned about going weak in the knees and breaking faith with what we said we'd do than about anybody's poll."
Glad to see that Mitch is right in his own mind. What was it he said he would do anyway? Get the entire state on the same Time Zone via DST? Yeah that worked.

The big issues are, of course, shoving major moves down our throats and mismanaging the Daylight Savings Time issue. But I am also annoyed by Mitch's refusal to do the follow Hoosier traditions. First, it was not living in the governor's residence. Now, he is eschewing the Sagamore of the Wabash, and starting to hand out something of his own called the "Sachem."

If he didn't want to be governotr of Indiana, why did he run for the office? And why did Hoosiers elect him?

Amen! This Hoosier likes traditions. I still can't believe he changed the Sagamore of the Wabash. Gov. Gates is turning in his grave.
