And a 3rd crappy game. For a Tourney that had so many close games, the final 3 in Indy were a major disappointment.
Congrats to Florida.
The highlight of the evening was hearing the boos when they introduced Myles Brand with the trophy... now that was entertaining.
And now the countdown to the first practice of the Kelvin Sampson era at IU begins.

I know the game was boring, but I was impressed with Donovan's coaching, Florida's execution and defense, and the overall dominance by one team. It was amazing. As a student of basketball, I enjoyed those elements of the game. As a fan of basketball, I was bored to tears.
True... I will give Donovan credit, he had a great gameplan and the players executed it to perfection. I was disappointed with Howland's ingame adjustments... or should I say absolute lack of adjustments.
Howland was just giving us Hoosier fans a reminder of what we'll be missing under Sampson.
That's funny... UAB is about to make a HUGE mistake... word out of Indy is that they are talking numbers with Davis.
UAB would be such a perfect fit for Davis, though. He's always needed to be back in sweet home, Alabama. I wonder if UAB is a big enough name for Vaden to follow Davis.
Let's see...play immediately under a new coach at IU where the spotlight will be shining brightly and I could improve my NBA chances or sit out a year and play for a program that could disappear in the next year or two.
Vaden must be hurting for a father figure in his life if he thinks following Davis to UAB will improve his NBA prospects.
I'm sure Davis is selling UAB hard on how he'll get Hamburger players to come to UAB.
Too bad for him the fans want the head assistant to get the job so they can continue to enjoy the balls to the wall high scoring offense they had last year.
They won't be too happy watching the paint dry offense. Poor Mike will be dealing angry fans again. Poor guy just can't buy a break.
But according to articles, Davis is the perfect man to UNITE a basketball program:
Davis could be the man to help unite the University of Alabama system.
Maybe I just don't follow college basketball enough, but was their discord in the Alabama system? Can Davis's Christ complex get even bigger? First, he plays messiah for IU and resigns to "unite" the program. Now he may return home to coach and "unite" another program?
What gives? Will his press conference announcing his hiring at UAB be heralded with him riding in on an ass and alumni waving palm branches?
Spork... that was good stuff.
