Mike Davis' UAB Contract

There sure are some interesting incentives in this contract that runs for 1 year... I'm hoping that is a typo... because if it isn't, Mike needs to fire his agent.

Potential incentives higher for new UAB basketball coach - al.com
The contract, which runs through April 6, 2007, guarantees $600,000 per year with incentives reaching at least $290,000 and a buyout of $500,000.
1 year huh?
Ticket sales were not covered in Anderson's contract. Davis will receive $30,000 if the program sells at least 2,000 season tickets. That increases by $20 per ticket if season tickets are between 2,000 to 2,500, $25 per ticket if sales are between 2,501 and 3,000 and $30 per ticket if sales are 3,001 or higher. UAB sold around 2,000 season tickets this past season at $170 per ticket.
2000 season tickets huh? Guess the good news is that Davis won't have too many people complaining about his coaching, or lack thereof.
Davis also could make $100,000 for leading his team to a national championship.
Ha! That's funny.
