ESPN has been cutting in for the last week to every at bat so they can bring the tie HR to our houses live. Most have been very uneventful. Until tonight.
Russ Springer, middle reliever for the Astros, with his team already down 11-3, threw 5 pitches... all at Barry.
Ball 1 was a slider thrown behind Barry which drew a warning.
Ball 2 was at Barry's knee with another slider
The next pitch was up at Barry's chin, but hit the knob of the bat for a strike
Ball 3 was a little more chin music up high and tight
And with his last pitch, a cutter nailed Barry square in the back.

"The Cream and the Clear" reference is to the designer steriods that BALCO developed. If you don't know who BALCO is look it up.

Barry Bonds is a cheater. Plain and simple. I feel the same way about Big Mac, Sosa and Palmero... all are cheaters and have no business holding any records in MLB. PERIOD!
