Bernie opens his yap trap...

Time for Bernie to play 'Hide and Go _ _ _ _ Yourself!'

Bernie: US GP is not important
- itv-f1.com

A few of the finer quotes...

"It does not matter to Formula 1 if there is no grand prix in the US."

Hmmm... nice arrogant thought... after this year there won't be one... good riddance Bernie!

"What do we get from America? Aggravation, that’s about all."

Hmmm... I seem to remember a lot of aggravated fans last year... but I think they were aggravated with the fact that Bernie's "powerful" control couldn't figure out a way to put on a race last year.

"If you say ‘good morning’ over there and it’s five past 12, you end up with a lawsuit."

Hmmm... I think that lawsuit had to do with a bunch of fans that paid tons of money to watch a farce. And it wasn't a good morning last year.

"We have never got any sponsors out there."

Hmmm... you are right Bernie, Budweiser is a German sponsor.

"The television has never taken off; we have more viewers in Malta than over there."

Hmmm... how large is Malta? 385,308 residents as of 2006. Yep Bernie, you are out of your mind. And you just lost another US viewer.

I'll be at IMS on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Can't wait to watch the Indy Pro Series, Porsche Supercup and Formula BMW. At least I'll have 2 hours each day to hit the bathrooms and spend some money at the concession stands while the primadonas try to determine if they have the balls to take Turn 13 at 70% the speed of an Indycar.

Next year I will be looking forward to an endurance race at Indy. 24 Hours of Indianapolis sure sounds nice.

Thanks for taking Jacques and his new found singing ability with you Bernie!

I guess folks in Malta care, or so Bernie says.

That Canadian Grand Prix was a nice parade today. Amazing to me how many guys just crash on their own. Those technically advanced machines must be really hard to drive.
