Friday at IMS

The following picture pretty much sums up my thoughts on F1. Nice shirt dude. I wonder if tomorrow, the Michelin drivers will decide Turn 13 is too fast and too dangerous to run. They did put on a nice high tech parade today.

If Bernie and F1 don't want to come back... good riddance. Just bring us an endurance race and I will be in attendance. The Porsche practice in the rain today was outstanding.

the soccer problem

first, I'm a big soccer fan. I love the continous play; the hypnotic rythmn of the game as the teams run up and down the field.

here's the problem with soccer.

Over the last 2 days I've watched the Germany-Argentina match and the England-Portugal game.

Both games after 120 minutes of play end in a penalty kicking contest.

In the England-Portugal game, the Portuguese played it way too safe and they were a man up.

ugh

If soccer had more scoring and a way to get around these bogus tiebreakers it would be more popular in the USA.

Imagine the AFC Championship decided by a field goal kicking contest.

Nice Michelin shirt.

I can't believe after the fiasco last year that you would still go.
