I must say that I have respect for Mitch Barnhart, UK's AD. He gets it. He understands that UK is getting a major advantage this year by having the IU-UK game become a home game at Rupp.
Barnhart did not rule out playing next year's game in Bloomington instead of Indianapolis, should IU request a change of venue. The Hoosiers won 87-84 on Dec. 18, 1990, the last time the game was played in Assembly Hall.
"It's their call," Barnhart said. "We'll go where they choose to have a home game. We'd certainly respect that (playing in Assembly Hall)."
But I bet IU and Greenspan won't get it. It's all about the $. And they will want to take the UK fans $ in Indy instead of having a great atmosphere and a home court advantage next year in Bloomington.
