Dumb decisions cost the Dodgers in game 1.

Kent watching a ball fly over Green's head instead of running and in turn getting thrown out at home.

Drew following Kent home and also getting tagged out at home on the same play.

In a 1 run loss, that 4th inning play was crucial. The dodgers had a young pitcher on the ropes and they let him out of it with STUPID play.

Grady bringing in starter Brad Penny in the 7th in relief... Penny got rocked giving up the go ahead 2 runs.

Dodgers 5 - Mets 6

Then in game 2... you have Betemit not charging a bunt from 3rd... Tomko getting off the mound late, and Lugo at first with the wrong foot on 1st base limiting his stretch leading to a Met run. Then you have Furcal lolly gagging at short and not charging a double play ball and only getting the lead runner for the 2nd out instead of being out of the inning... 2 runs scored later that inning. Big difference between a 4-0 game and a 2-0 game.

Dodgers 1 - Mets 4.

Here's hoping they can turn it around in LA.
