Thank you Fox...
So after the Padres beat the Cards yesterday to force a game 4 on Sunday, Fox announced the following scenario. If the Dodgers beat the Mets in Saturday's late game, the Cardinals vs Padres game would be a noon start on Sunday. If the Mets beat the Dodgers, the game would have an 8pm start.
So this is where TV sucks for the local fans...
If you are a Cardinals fan with a ticket to Sunday's game, you had to stay up until 11:30 Saturday night to find out if you needed to go to a Noon game the next day, or an 8pm game. Fortunately for the Cards fans, they got the late game.
On the other hand, if you are a Padres fan with tickets to the Chargers game on Sunday night, you just got screwed! Your Padres are facing elimination at the exact same time the Charges are playing at home. Fox just screwed 70,000 fans in San Diego... thank you very much.
