A terrible loss for all of us. As a Purdue fan I never thought I'd say this about an IU coach, but he was a a really great person and it saddens me to think that we'll never get to see how much he could have done at IU. I honestly thought he was on the cusp of turning things into a true rivalry, which would have been nothing but good for both IU and Purdue.
Coach Hep will be sorely missed.
A sad day indeed.
Hep made me proud to be a Hoosier football fan.
It would be a great tribute to him and his passion for the program if every home game would be sold out this year.
