IU smacked Ball U around earlier today to get to 6-4 overall with 2 games to play. 2 wins over Northwestern next week and Purdue the week after and IU is going to be bowling for the first time since 1993.

Good game Saturday...I took the boys and sat one the west side, north goal line, 23rd row. Almost all the action was at the south end, but from our vantage point we had a nice look at the crater-like gravel pit where the end zone enclosure will be constructed. We appear to be at our annual crossroads, needing one more win win...but this year we are looking for that elusive 7th win. This has to be the year, doesn't it? I mean, no OSU or Michigan on the schedule. I just hope we don't take a dump at NW like we normally do at this juncture (can you say 63 points by the Gophers?). One more win should get us in one of the 87 bowls out there. I'd like it to be against the Boilers, but I'd take it at NW. How about you? Hope you are well...haven't checked in here in awhile.
