The Big Ten Network is Awesome Baby!

Tonight they aired IU vs Kentucky from 1990.

What a joy it was to watch Calbert Cheaney play. So smooth. So fluid. Beautiful.

I had much better seats this time. As a senior, I had 46th row seats for this game. I wouldn't have traded them for anything as the atmosphere alone in the Hall made up for the bad seats.

If IU doesn't miss a dozen bunnies and a bunch of free throws, this wouldn't have even been a game.

I forgot how much I liked the lower angle of the cameras back in the 80s and early 90s. So much better than the camera location these days.

Damon Bailey was a stud as a Freshman. Too bad he really maxed out his talent and couldn't make that next step as Calbert did.

The final for those that don't have the Big Ten Network, or a good memory, IU beat UK 87-84.

So what's your 1.5 - 2 month verdict on U-Verse? How's it compare to what you used to get from Comcast, for features and cost?

They ran that IU-UK game several times last week...I saw bits and pieces twice. Bobby had so many good players back then...just no big boys. And, you are right...nothing like seeing a game at the Hall. I was going to take the boys to the game Dec. 29th but we have family Christmas conflicts...damn the holidays anyway! LOL How about the pigskin recruits who committed this week? If they stay committed, it could be a really good class for once. Hope you are well.

John - No comparison between Comcast and U-Verse. If you can get U-Verse... JUMP as quickly as you can.

Half the price of Comcast
Triple the sports channels
Double the HD channels
Internet speed is visibly faster than Comcast

U-Verse rocks!

Andy, good to hear from you. All is well here. Working too much but oh well. I was somewhat surprised by the football recruits. My biggest concern with Lynch was recruiting. Guess making a bowl does help ;-) Take care!
