And the 2004 F1 season got underway tonight in Melborne.
A dominating performance by Ferrari with Shumacher and Rubens finishing 1-2 and Alonso filling the final podium spot.

Not a great race for Juan Pablo... he struggled with the start as he tried to hold off the "fake launch control" of Alonso's Renault and broke late in turn 1 and lost 6 spots at the start. From that point on, he was always behind someone that was holding him up. Once he did get some clean race track he was running 1:25 laps right with Michael.
I know it is early, but it sure looks like the rest of the season is a race for 3rd as Shumey and Rubens have dominating Ferraris. Will the others catch up? I guess that is why I will continue to watch.
