Hmmm... Isn't this a good thing? Doesn't this mean the University is trying to clean up the campus of Drug and Alcohol abuse? Doesn't this mean the Police aren't turning a blind eye to the illegal activity? I would think this would be something the media would be highlighting as a good thing!

But no... Channel 13 here in Indy last night teased all night to watch the 11pm news to find out what horrible category IU was ranked #1 now. They then proceeded to lead off the 11pm news with how bad this ranking is.

What???? I don't get it. Students drink and do drugs on every campus... but when they get stupid and publicly deal or use, they deserve to get busted! In 2002 IU was labled the #1 Party School in the country. If the students are doing illegal drugs out in public, I for one am glad to see IU ranked high in this category! Clean up the streets of Bloomington and push the parties back into the private residences where they belong.
