IU vs Ohio St. at the HorseShoe
OSU comes into the game 0-3 in the B10 just like IU. IU is coming off their bye week... what a great time to go into Columbus with some confidence that you could play with OSU.
I've been a fan for too long... I should have known better.
1st series... IU missed numerous tackles, but caused a fumble at midfield and recovered. Unfortunately the B10 know has instant replay and they ruled correctly that the OSU player's knee was down just a split second before the ball came out. OSU kept the ball and on the next play, Buster Larkins breaks on a pass and just misses picking the ball off, and instead deflected the ball up where an OSU receiver caught it and proceded to break tackles all the way to the end zone.
I should have turned off the TV... but I didn't... instead I saw IU commit penalties that stopped drives, missed tackles, receivers drop passes, missed tackles, a missed 40 yd FG, missed tackles, LoVecchio taking a big sack when all he needed to do was throw it out of bounds and kick a field goal, missed tackles, LoVecchio throwing into triple coverage and being picked off, and more missed tackles.
That was one frustrating game!
