NFL Scheduling...

Why does the NFL insist on screwing the Colts every year? This year they had to open at New England and guess where they have to play again next year? Yup... at New England... I'm sure it will be in December in the snow. Plus they have to make 2 west coast trips and a trip to Japan in the Pre-Season. Ouch! At least they don't play Denver again.

Next Year's schedule from the Indy Star:

The Colts' 2005 schedule includes games against five teams who reached this year's postseason, and is highlighted by another trip to New England.

Along with the Patriots, playoff opposition will come from Pittsburgh, St. Louis, San Diego and Seattle.

The Colts' 2005 schedule consists of home games with Tennessee, Houston, Jacksonville, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Arizona, St. Louis and San Diego. Road games will be against Tennessee, Houston, Jacksonville, Baltimore, Cincinnati, San Francisco, Seattle and the Patriots.

So they are getting screwed by having to travel and play New England? With the other teams on their schedule I think that I would be happy with flying first class and maybe playing NE in the snow. You can't stay in the home dome all season.

Yes... having to play at New England this year and at New England next year is getting screwed. New England should be playing in Indy next year. Just as San Diego is getting screwed by having to play at Indy this year and next.

Just doesn't seem like a lot to complain about here. I'm sure there are other teams with schedules that are more likely candidates for the "we got screwed" award.
