31 Wins to Dean Smith

My faith in College Basketball has been renewed. The Texas Tech vs Kansas game tonight was the best I have witnessed all season long. Both teams made runs, both coaches made adjustments, both teams had answers, players from both teams made play after play after play. If I don't see another game this year, I was lucky enough to see one of, if not the best played games of the year.

It was beautiful watching Knight have Zeno playing the role of Cheaney against a zone. The lefty Frosh was roaming the baseline driving for layups, hitting the 15 foot pull up and the occasional 3. It took me back to the days when IU basketball was enjoyable.

Texas Tech 80 - Kansas 79 - 2 OT

Tech improves their B12 record to 8-3 and their overall record to 16-6. Coach Knight now has 848 wins.

I am going to bed with a smile on my face!

That was, bar none, the best game I've seen in years and is destined for endless reruns on ESPN Classic.

GO BOBBY!!!!!
