Josh Smith... Davis appointed member of the IU Family... won the NBA Dunk Contest. Yes he showed mad hopz and serious dunking skilz. But his best, was the respect he showed the original dunk master Dominic Wilkins by donning the Hawks 21 jersey and doing a Dominic Windmill jam. Going Old School took the contest.
Now I'm sure Davis will bring up Josh not coming to IU as another excuse for the dismal performance. I can hear the Michigan Post Game Interview tomorrow:
"Did you all see that Dunk Contest last night? If Josh would have come to IU this year, instead of losing today, we would have won for the 23rd straight time and we would be the undefeated #1 team in the country, not Illinois. Wait until 2 years from now when we have Greg Oden. We will be awesome!"
