What a great conclusion to the 2005 season. Hands down the 2 best teams in college basketball squaring off in a game of runs. Both teams played well and it came right down to the wire. Illinois lived by the 3 all season long and couldn't knock down the 3 when they had to have it the last 2 possessions.
Congrats to Sean May. Talk about taking a team and putting them on your back. 26 pts and 9 rebounds in the Championship game.
