A big thank you to the "Crowd Pleaser" and his lovely wife for inviting me to Kokomo earlier tonight to see the World of Outlaws.
Nothing quite compares to having your face sandblasted by the vortex of dirt displaced by 25 winged sprints flying around a 1/4 mile dirt track.
And we witnessed some great action in the A-Main with Kraig Kinser first holding off his dad, then holding off Jason Myers in the final 2 laps for the victory.
It sure looked like the 5 Germans sitting in front of us enjoyed their diversion from F1... I just wish I understood the German they were speaking... sure sounded like they were amazed with the rednecks that come out at the dirt tracks.
The line of the nite came from the PA guy when Brooke Tatnell dominated the B-Main... "He's hooked up like a football recruit at a Colorado University recruiting party." Nice... Very Nice!
A very nice lead in to the U.S. Grand Prix at Indy this weekend.
