Yes... I will admit it... I was hooked on this show this summer. INXS was a band I grew up with... so naturally I was curious.

Unfortunately, I think they made a mistake tonight choosing J.D. Fortune over Marty Casey. Had they chosen Marty... I would have attended the closest show. With J.D. I have no desire to see them. Sorry guys!
Looks like this guy nailed it with his prediction yesterday.

I like Marty better as a person, but I have to disagree and say I thought JD was a good pick. "Pretty Vegas" is a total INXS song. I think both his performance style and his songwriting capabilities will definitely augment INXS pretty well. Now, the only question is whether they'll be able to stand JD's personality!
There's one good thing about all this. I've broken out my copy of "Kick" for the first time in awhile! Mediate, alleviate, try not to hate, love your mate...that was pretty high philosophy in the 80s!!

I just thought Marty might help INXS survive in the 21st century. But after hearing their 2 new songs, it sounds like they are going to stay in the late 80s.
I wonder about JD... Will he be a 1 tour wonder and will we have Rock Star: INXS II next year?
And was JD a poor guy living in his car? Or was that just a story? Kinda like Vanilla Ice?
I do look forward to following Marty's career though. Look out for the Lovehammers.
