Just in case any of you suffer the same Math Skills as Mike I'll break this down for you.
Iowa at 7-2 .778, is in first place all by themselves.
Illinois and Michigan at 6-3 .667, are tied for 2nd.
Indiana, Michigan State and Ohio State at 5-3 .625 are tied for 4th.
Wisconsin at 5-4 .556 is all alone in 7th... for now.
Penn State and Northwestern at 3-6 .333 are tied for 8th.
Purdue at 2-8 .200 is alone in 10th
Minnesota at 1-7 .125 is alone in 11th.
Sad that I had to break down standings that most kids learn by the time they are in 2nd grade.
Personally I would have thought that Mike would have remembered the #4 as IU was the four seed last year.

Give it a rest already. We have one more loss than Iowa. That is probably what Davis was looking at. Also, he made the comment after the game which was before any of the other games finished. The 2nd B10 game that day started at 3. So unless he had a crystal ball, his statement was valid at the time. Move on, Steve.
Now Josh... 2nd place and a game difference in the lost column are 2 totally different things. Davis may have meant that, but he didn't say that. And the fact that he repeated the 2nd place comment on the radio after the game, during the press conference, on his radio show, proves he believed it.
And he was flat out WRONG!
Oh and by the way, they were in 5th place when he said it.
But I will gladly move on and see what happens tonight.
