A few random thoughts from the season finale between the 2 least disciplined teams in the B10.
Why does ESPN+ send Purdue Bob Ford to announce this game?
That was a strong start by the hoosiers. 7 turnovers and zero points 5 minutes in.
Michigan 10 - IU 0
9 TOs and 3 pts in 8 minutes, yet IU only trails 12-3.
At least the bad shot count stays low when you turn it over this much.
30-27 UM at the half.
Have I commented lately just how bad the officiating is in the B10? It didn't cost either team in this game, but all the whistles never let the flow of the game get going.
One thing Davis can take away from this year... He's not the worst coach in the B10... Amaker is... HANDS DOWN!

Yep, I tried to warn you about that IU-PU first half. They just look bad so much of the time...I am anxious to get some new blood on the sideline. I am so sick of the lack of discipline, the excuses and the wasting of talent.
And as bad as it was Saturday, it was a win...not a bad birthday present. I don't think Davis had anything to do with it...they are just lucking their way into some wins now. And you are right....Amacker is brutal. The other team Davis has owned.
Our old neighbor from Westfield (he and his wife went to Dwenger...and heloved playing in Manchester's gym with 'those cool stadium seats')has some downtown coneections and invited me to go to all sessions Friday at Conseco, so I am looking forward to that. I think I saw two college games over the past 14 years and now I get a whole bunch in one day. Hope my head doesn't exlode.
