What does Newton know about hiring a basketball coach? He's done it a few times himself. While he was the Kentucky AD, Newton hired Rick Pitino and then followed him with Tubby Smith.

Yep... that's why he polarized the state... had nothing to do with the fact he couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag. It's all about signing those prize recruits... I'm sure it will be worth the ticket watching those recruits dribble, dribble, dribble, chuck a 3... repeat. Especially after following Mike Anderson's 40 Minutes of Hell Part II. Yep those Blazers fans will be really happy.
