DK, Mike and Cathy, it truly is a good day when you start out with Skyline on the UC campus at 11, beer overlooking the river in Newport, a rack at the Montgomery Inn, and a Reds game at the Great American Ballpark. If only Griffey could have taken Jacks deep for a walk-off. At least Bob and Alex went home happy.

I never thought about this, Steve, but if you're such a good psychic, why couldn't you have predicted our accident and helped us get to Cincy on time? ;)
In any event, it was great to get together with everyone! We did find a Graeter's after the game, so all wasn't lost. Also, I did not have to hear Bob whining about a Sox loss, so I slept well that night.
My favorite part of the game: asking Bob about whether the DH rule was in place JUST as Contreras stepped up to the plate to hit an easy pop fly...
Sadly Anna my prophetic skills only lasted a week so I was unable to forsee your accident and warn you.
