Nice article in the Star today about Mike Vlahogeorge... incoming Freshman who graduated early and came to IU early to participate in Spring Ball.
Vlahogeorge eager to get started at IU
He's from West Lafayette, grew up a Boiler fan, but Purdue was loaded at QB and when IU offered he accepted. His quote when asked about growing up a Boiler fan makes me really like this kid.
"I really was a big Purdue fan when they had Drew Brees, but other than that it was just easy to be a fan when you live that close to a school," he said. "But I was never really anti-IU except in basketball, and that was pretty much because no one liked Luke Recker."
